All Open Mic Productions Karaoke shows are run with
state-of-the-art MTU Hoster software. This allows us to time the show
out, key change any song to make it more comfortable for the singer, as well as
put
singers up on the computer rotation list so they can see just when they will get
to be “the star they really are”. We always bring books, pencils, and sign-up
slips to every event. We add new music every month and even have the ability to

Here in the states karaoke began as way to bridge the gap between
happy hour and the evening's DJs or bands. In Japan karaoke translates to
“leaderless orchestra”. Open Mic Productions believes that karaoke is a way for
you to “be the star you really are”. What sets us apart from other karaoke shows
is that all of our hosts can entertain a crowd by doing a full show themselves
if the need ever arises. Rest assured if you hire us we will do everything in
our
power to encourage your clientele to sing and participate. We use the best
PC-driven karaoke software in the business. We have over 8200
songs and add the latest releases from Sound Choice the karaoke leader every
month. We arrive at an event with karaoke
books and plenty of sign up slips and pens to take your song requests.
Once we receive your song request we enter it into the program so that you can
see exactly down to the minute when you're up to sing. We don’t play favorites-singers
 sing in the order slips are received and are rotated. We also try, when
possible, to alternate guys & girls as well as tempo of songs to limit the
consecutive slow songs and avoid killing the mood. We are able to change the key
of songs to accommodate singers who like to sing songs not in their normal
register. We use Sennheiser & Sure corded & cordless mics. We’ve run some of the
biggest contests in St. Louis. If that’s what you're after let us know and we’ll
discuss that aspect of our business with you from the inside out. We also supply,
when requested, a JBL Eon powered monitor. This helps the singer hear him or herself better
and helps us
keep the volume to the house at a respectable level. Last, but not least, we pride
ourselves in not driving clientele away but actually increasing your clientele
base through presentation and use of our large email list of karaoke singers. We
can also seamlessly switch between karaoke sets and DJ music allowing us to have
more control over your customers' energy level. Whatever we can do to keep the register ringing or the party going all
